Contracts Manager
Your new company is involved in the construction and maintenance of roads across Ireland.
The role will support the roads maintenance operations and related services for the company, with a large business development side to this role as well as tendering and managing projects on site once secured.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the development of new business opportunities and partnerships for projects, ensuring maximum market exposure and a high-quality service for clients and partners.
* Build strong relationships with clients and oversee bids through to project completion on site.
* Expand the customer base and drive early development stages of projects from sales and engineering perspectives.
* Provide technical advice to clients on design, products, and pricing.
* Assist in engineering technical solutions to overcome potential issues.
* Ensure seamless transitions from award to delivery by managing project handovers to operations.
* Contribute to commercial team development and business strategy.
* Negotiate contract terms and conditions successfully.
* Follow up on new leads and referrals.
* Cultivate sustainable relationships with diverse clients through negotiations and deal closure.
* Complete pre-construction condition surveys on projects before works commence.
* Programme and schedule works to maximise resource efficiency.
* Plan and coordinate crews and subcontractors.
* Assist in budget costing compilation for the commercial team.
* Deliver projects within timelines, budget, and scope, while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements:
* Civil Engineering Degree or Trade background.
* Proficiency in computer skills, including Office, Excel, Windows, Outlook, and General/Engineering Applications.
* Strong awareness of civil engineering, site works, plant, and equipment.
