The Corporate Services Directorate is a diverse and dynamic business support function with a remit across finance, IT, HR, procurement, governance, legal, compliance, inspections, communications, stakeholder relationships and general administration.
Working as part of the Corporate Services team, the Finance and Systems Executive will play a key role in managing the finance system ensuring that it is operating as required and identifying integration possibilities across other systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with all of the Corporate Services Team in providing systems support.
They will also work with Programme Managers and cross-functional teams organisation-wide seeking product improvements such as financial reports, data analysis and process improvements.
This role will report to Financial Operations and Analytics.
Essential Requirements The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate: A qualification at Level 8 on the NFQ (i.e.
honours degree or higher) or equivalent in either IT, business, finance, accounting or related area and a minimum of 3 years' experience working in an accounts function. OR A qualification at Level 7 on the NFQ (i.e.
ordinary degree) or equivalent in either business, finance, accounting or related area and a minimum of 5 years' directly relevant experience working in an accounts function. Strong understanding of Accounting packages and the cross integration of systems. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team. Well-developed IT skills and understanding of MS Office 365 package and Power BI. Strong understanding of controls and good governance practices. Desirable Requirements Working knowledge of the Integra-Centros finance system. Experience in a public sector or other highly regulated environment. Understanding of public sector taxation. Interest or knowledge of the sustainable energy sector in Ireland. Demonstrated experience in process improvement and change.
