Staff Verification Engineer Role
The AMD Ser Des team in Ireland is hiring a design verification engineer to contribute to the pre-silicon verification of complex mixed-signal ICs in the latest CMOS Fin FET processes.
Job Responsibilities
1. Verification Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive verification plans, defining verification strategies, goals, and methodologies.
2. Testbench Development: Design and implement advanced verification environments using industry-standard methodologies like UVM and System Verilog.
3. Testcase Development: Create and execute testcases to verify functionality, performance, and robustness of semiconductor designs.
4. Debugging and Analysis: Identify, isolate, and debug issues found during verification.
5. Verification Closure: Work closely with teams to achieve verification closure and ensure quality and completeness of verification activities.
6. Methodology Enhancement: Drive adoption and evolution of verification methodologies, AI initiatives, tools, and best practices.
7. Documentation and Reporting: Generate clear documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate verification results and status.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
7+ years of experience in ASIC or SoC design verification, proficiency in verification languages and methodologies, and strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering or Electrical Engineering.
