Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Global Trade Solution Architect to join their team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep expertise in Global Trade processes, particularly in areas such as Compliance Management, Risk Management, and Customs Management. The SAP Global Trade Architect will be responsible for evaluating business requirements and deciding on best fit solutions utilizing existing applications and services in the landscape or through evaluating and recommending new solutions.
Responsibilities
1. Evaluate and define solutions for business requirements in line with the our clients Architecture process.
2. Create High Level (HLD) and Low Level (LLD) Design documents.
3. Present solutions and design documents at the Architecture Review Board (ARB) to ensure designs align to governance, security and technology standards.
4. Work with existing applications in the Global Trade area including SAP GTS, ECC, SAP S/4HANA and Amber Road to develop roadmaps to meet the emerging business needs of the company.
5. Will involve applying knowledge of the automotive or related industries to tailor solutions effectively, ensuring they meet industry standards and requirements.
6. Providing strategic guidance to project teams, you'll play a crucial role in aligning project implementations with overarching business objectives and ensuring solutions are delivered in line with the design.
7. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and partners, you'll lead by example, fostering effective communication and teamwork to drive successful business transformations.
Requirements
8. Minimum of 6 years’ experience in designing solutions and roadmaps in the Global Trade area
9. Proven ability to present GTS technical concepts to business oriented teams
10. Experience in global implementations with various regions and markets
11. Expertise in Global Trade Process in SAP GTS, SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
12. Strong background in the automotive, high tech or related industries is preferred Strong presentation and communication skills
13. Comfortable with challenging established ways of working to bring process and automation improvements and getting agreement to change
