About the Role
A Health and Safety Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by conducting regular safety inspections, audits, and investigations to identify hazards and ensure safe working conditions.
The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH or IOSH certification, possess relevant experience in a similar role (preferably within construction or industrial environments), and demonstrate a strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry.
* Ensure adherence to established safe work practices and standards.
* Maintain comprehensive safety records and prepare detailed reports for management, clients, and regulatory authorities.
* Develop and implement safety policies and procedures tailored to construction site requirements.
* Ability to conduct accident investigations and root cause analysis.
* Demonstrate a proactive approach to promoting health & safety culture on-site.
Key Responsibilities
