We’re hiring for an Employee Benefits Consultant
We’re NFP and we provide services and solutions to support businesses and people. We have capabilities that extend around the globe, including here in the UK, Ireland, EMEA, APAC and North America. It’s a time of rapid growth for the European arm of the business, so we need someone to proactively manage an existing portfolio of clients, and generate new business revenue by winning new clients for NFP.
We are recruiting for an Employee Benefits Consultant, to join our growing team in Dublin.
The main responsibilities of an Employee Benefits Consultant at NFP are to:
* Proactively manage an existing portfolio of clients, and
* Generate new business revenue by winning brand new clients for NFP.
Overview of duties
Existing Clients:
* Manage and enhance our existing client relationships and develop a strategic approach as to how the existing book of business is managed. This will involve providing expert advice on all areas of employee benefits and ensuring clients receive the highest level of service, whilst also spotting opportunities for cross selling and up selling.
* Deliver employee presentations: Work closely with our clients to manage interactions across all communications related to the clients’ employee benefits program, i.e. new hires, day-to-day queries and off-boarding of leavers from the benefits program.
* Increase the breadth of solutions provided to corporate clients and group commercial insurance clients, through effective strategic partnerships with existing clients.
New Clients:
* Identify key prospects to develop into new clients through your own network, relationships in the market and exploring other means and opportunities to build income & revenue for NFP in Ireland.
* Partner with consultants and sales teams from across NFP Group to identify new targets for selling the employee benefits proposition.
* Participate in tenders, complete RFPs documents and deliver new business pitch presentations.
* Be comfortable dealing with Executives and Senior Business leaders in target prospects.
* Ensure formal contracts and service level agreements exist for all new clients.
* Deliver full handover to client delivery teams for newly acquired clients, including involvement of finance team for invoicing purposes.
* Update CRM with sales prospect information and report regularly on pipeline management.
* Work alongside the sales and marketing team to deliver effective and engaging marketing activities for new clients.
* Organise events to promote NFP employee benefits solutions.
* Cross sell the NFP corporate benefits proposition into the other areas of the Group.
Person specification
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all types of clients and all role levels within an organisation.
* Well-developed capability to prioritise and manage yourself to achieve challenging targets.
* Willing to travel extensively across Ireland.
* The ability to identify relevant new business opportunities and drive them through to a sale.
* Excellent presentation skills. There will be a requirement to deliver a sales pitch presentation as you progress in the process.
Education / and or Experience
* Minimum of 5 years in an employee benefits consulting role, to include Pension, Group Risk and Private Medical Insurance (PMI), albeit PMI not essential to this role.
* Proven track record in sales.
* Self-starter highly motivated by their own success.
* Must be able to work in a target driven environment.
* QFA or higher essential.
