Job Summary:
The End User Computing Citrix Analyst will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of Citrix solutions for the business's end-users, as well as managing infrastructure services. This role will report to the End User Computing Citrix Lead.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the design of End User Compute solutions that meet the business's needs
2. Support the development and management of DaaS (Desktop as A Service) infrastructure and Office 365 in a virtual environment
3. Support the design, enhancement, and implementation of End User Compute infrastructure to support the requirements of the company
4. Provide regular and comprehensive status and progress reports covering scope, costs, schedule, and quality for stakeholders
5. Work with IT Architects to assist in the definition of leading infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategies and priorities
6. Ensure that architecture principles and standards are adhered to in the infrastructure team
7. Manage service performance and resource-related performance to ensure that service availability meets or exceeds the agreed targets
8. Continuously monitor and optimise the Citrix infrastructure to enhance user experience and efficiency
9. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Citrix solutions into existing IT systems
10. Implement security best practice and ensure compliance with industry regulations
11. Stay up to date with new advancements in Citrix technologies and end-user computing to ensure the business benefits from the latest features and enhance customer satisfaction with the platform.
12. Provide out-of-hours cover as part of the Standby Rota and participate in out-of-hours work as required.
Core technologies of the role (highly desirable): Office 365, DaaS (Desktop as A Service) infrastructure experience, Citrix solution integration experience.
Requirements:
13. Knowledge of End User Compute Infrastructure such as Citrix or Citrix Cloud DaaS, Azure Virtual Desktop, or VMware Horizon View
14. Relevant third level qualifications and/or accreditation are desirable.
15. Experience being part of a team with strong people, change management, and conflict resolution skills
16. Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders internally and externally
17. Proven track record for dealing with complex issues, proactively and in a timely fashion, along with the ability to communicate information to others
18. Highly motivated individual, working to the highest professional standards and with a proven ability to deliver results within a team
19. Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and analyse problems and potential improvements and propose and implement solutions
20. Demonstrate adaptability and the ability to change focus and direction in line with business strategy and requirements
