Join our award-winning team as an Experienced Retail Manager for our Ember Boutique Department.
We are seeking a candidate with over three years of experience in fashion sales, merchandising, customer service, and team management. Strong communication skills and a proven record of achieving sales goals are essential, along with commercial awareness.
The Retail Manager will oversee department operations, maintain visual merchandising standards, and ensure a positive work environment. Skills in stock management and delivery are also required. Ideal candidates should have managerial experience in a customer-oriented, fashion-forward retail setting, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to training and developing staff.
Success in this role requires understanding key business priorities, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs), and focusing on operational excellence and customer satisfaction. With a proactive approach, the Department Manager will be crucial to the continued success of our team and the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support the achievement of store sales goals through effective daily planning and team collaboration.
* Prioritizing, planning, and adjusting schedules to ensure efficient operation and labor.
* Lead and motivate the team to meet and exceed individual and collective goals.
* Efficiently process stock from deliveries and implement inventory management processes.
* Train and guide staff through ongoing programs in sales, customer service, and product knowledge.
* Help ensure the team consistently delivers an exceptional customer experience in the store.
* Maintain an active presence on the sales floor, ensuring proper staff coverage and providing support where needed.
* Promote and maintain a safe work environment through adherence to safety guidelines and continuous training.
* Support adherence to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance within the team.
* Generate new creative ideas that align with the organization’s culture and meet the established KPIs.
* Conduct inventory checks and support accurate stock management to protect company assets.
* Foster a positive workplace environment where all team members are treated with fairness, dignity, and respect.
* Serve as a role model, demonstrating professional behavior and forward-thinking to inspire staff.
* Report department findings and performance to senior management.
