Open Source Program Office (OSPO) is seeking a talented individual with an eye for details, and a passion for organization. In this role, focusing on the development cycle, you will have the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of our product teams and supporting stakeholders to contribute to the management of our use of Open Source Software (OSS) in ADI products. In this role, you’ll work with a broad spectrum of people across the Product Development organization, from developer team leads, to other project and program managers.This position requires some technical depth, operational discipline as well as excellent communication skills. This role includes covering all aspects of managing multiple software product releases, including relationship management, and status tracking and reporting to OSPO leadership. You’ll set expectations with various stakeholders and keep product teams and related groups accountable for their commitments. The successful candidate has program or project manager experience, some software development experience, is familiar with open source software and open source practices, is passionate about creating world-class services, is an effective communicator, and diplomatic enough to navigate diverse interests and levels of the organization.ResponsibilitiesGuide, communicate, and manage the defined OSPO process.Work with Product teams across the organization to understand release schedules, balance OSPO scanning workload and deliverables, communicate status and to hold stakeholders accountable to commitments.Speak OSS usage fluently with product developers and engineers.Analyze and track program metrics to provide status reports.Identify and raise concerns/risks to OSPO leadership.Manage issues to resolution, provide escalation management, and meet committed timelines.Skills & QualificationsExperience in managing projects and/or programs, including 2+ relevant years in software development, managing complex technical programs simultaneously.Understanding of a software development life-cycle and phases.Experienced in Jira, Confluence, and business-intelligence tooling such as PowerBI or equivalent.Experience with Open Source Software compliance activities.Awareness of modern software development practices via dynamic build systems.Successful track record of managing complex development programs to deliver technical solutions.Proven expertise developing effective, matrixed, cross-organization relationships, collaborating and communicating across business and technology stakeholders and multiple geographies.Ability to influence both peers and leaders, to build consensus while dealing with ambiguity, and make or delegate decisions when necessary.Ability to grasp technical discussions and thrive in a dynamic and challenging work environment.Highly savvy in setting expectation and managing risks/issues across diverse teams.Excellent oral, written communication skills including presentation skills.Nice to HaveB.S. or M.S. degree (degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent).PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
