Fire Engineer - Multidisciplinary Consultancy - North Dublin

Our client is a leading engineering consultancy who specialise in Fire Engineering Designs & Project Delivery to the Commercial, Industrial, Pharma/Biotech and Educational Sectors.
Our client is seeking to recruit a number of fire engineers with capabilities in design & project delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Developing fire engineering solutions for various building types at various stages.
2. Demonstrating the ability to apply performance-based fire engineering solutions, particularly in developing structural fire engineered solutions.
3. Carrying out risk assessments of existing buildings.
4. Preparation of relevant documentation such as presentations, reports, sketches, drawings, etc.
5. Clear ability to liaise with the design team, client, local approving authorities, contractors, and other third parties as required.
6. Short-term travel as required.
7. Maintaining quality standards.
Requirements:
1. Undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in fire engineering.
2. Detailed knowledge and experience with Part B of the Building Regulations (either Ireland or UK) and demonstrable familiarity with associated guidance (TGD B/ADB & BS 5588/BS 9999).
3. Familiarity and good working knowledge of fire engineering principles – demonstrable understanding of methods (e.g. CIBSE Guide E, BRE 368, PD 7974 series).
4. Experience writing technical reports.
5. Demonstrable competence and familiarity with office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
6. Experience in application of various design Irish/UK fire safety codes (e.g. HTMs, BB100).
7. Experience with site inspection and investigation.
8. Fire safety management.
9. Experience in application of specialist fire engineering disciplines, CFD, SFE, Evacuation modelling.
Package:
1. Salary €50k - €80k depending on experience.
2. Hybrid flexibility after probation period.
