About Us: John Scottus School is a vibrant and dynamic secondary school committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for our students. We are currently seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our office team. The work takes place mostly during the school term, including periods in June and August. The hours of work are 7.30 am to 4.00 pm each day. The rate of pay will depend on experience.
Job Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Office Staff member to handle a variety of administrative and reception duties. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school office and providing excellent support to our staff, students, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
2. Manage the school's calendar and coordinate meetings and events.
3. Greet and assist visitors, parents, and students in a friendly and professional manner.
4. Handle phone calls and emails, providing accurate information and support.
5. Assist in the coordination of school events and activities.
6. Update and maintain the school's website and digital records.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in an administrative or office role is preferred.
2. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
3. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. Proficiency in using office software and maintaining digital records.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Friendly, approachable, and able to create a positive first impression.
