About the Role - Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain relationships with customers seeking funding for residential development projects.
* Conduct detailed assessments of residential development projects and prepare concise loan reports.
* Support team members by providing advice on funding applications.
* Participate in regular reviews of borrower relationships and funded developments.
* Achieve lending targets within agreed timeframes and commercial terms.
* Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
* Facilitate cooperation with internal and external auditors.
Qualifications - Required Skills:
* Minimum of 8 years in a similar role within a financial institution, with a proven track record in residential development lending.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
* Experience in managing credit quality and compliance.
* Coaching and mentoring junior team members.
* In-depth knowledge of residential development lending products and markets.
* Strong understanding of lending agreements, covenants, and security requirements.
* Excellent negotiation and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong leadership and networking skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Degree in economics/finance or a related discipline, and/or equivalent professional qualification.
