The Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in the Department of Earth, Atmospheric & Planetary Sciences at MIT supports exceptional early-career scientists with interests in various disciplines. Program Details
* Fellows are appointed through a competitive process and receive appointments for two years.
* Each fellow receives an annual stipend of $64,000 and benefits including affiliate health, basic dental and vision insurance, and relocation expenses.

* Applications include a curriculum vitae, list of publications, and a two-page plan of research.
* Three reference letters are required, submitted through Academic Jobs Online.
* A common application form must be filled out by all prospective fellows, with emails instructing referees on how to upload their letters.
Eligibility
* Fellows must have obtained a Ph.D. within three years of the start date.
* The start date is flexible, but should ideally fall between June 1, 2018, and January 31, 2019.
