Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with Data Science and business partners requiring subject matter expertise in the business as well as advanced analytics.
* Participate in developing test plans and scripts, preparation of test data, reconciliation of data sources, and execution of functional tests.
* Help develop and deliver the data infrastructure required to support needs of predictive modeling and analytics with minimal supervision.
* Collaborate with other engineers to create reliable built solutions for a variety of different customers and topics.
Requirements
* Leverage data analysis and technical fluency in parallel processing/programming, software/programming languages, and technologies.
* Employ a high degree of analytic agility to meet fluid and dynamic business needs.
* Provide support on requirement development for analytic data sources, breaking down business problems into solvable components.
* Execute rapid development of new data and analytic work tracks with fast iteration over quick sprints.
Mid-Senior Level Responsibilities
* Provide technical leadership to across-functional teams to implement analytic solutions that address business challenges across various business units.
* Coach and inspire a team of high-performing data engineers.
* Participate in requirement development, breaking down business problems into solvable components.
* Execute rapid development of new data and analytic work tracks with fast iteration over quick sprints.
Essential Skills
1. Achieved a First class/Distinction or equivalent Master's degree in a highly quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, or computer science.
2. Additional criteria for mid-senior level: 3+ years experience in a related field developing sophisticated big data pipelines.
