About the Role
Our client in the Public/Healthcare sector is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities Manager for their site in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the Maintenance Dept to deliver quality-based, cost-effective services.
* Oversee contracts, grounds maintenance, health & safety, and equipment management in line with regulations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams for IT development program implementation.
* Monitor performance and maintenance of buildings, including mechanical & electrical services.
* Participate in new development projects and prepare annual building and maintenance plans.
* Ensure contract works are managed according to H&S policies/procedures and construction regulations.
Requirements:
* 3rd Level/Apprenticeship in IT, Electrical/Mechanical trade, or Engineering/Surveying/Facilities/Chartered Surveyors.
* At least 7 years' experience in mechanical/electrical/engineering management of large buildings.
* Management experience of operational budgets and multidisciplinary trades & technical teams.
* Experience in implementing Planned Maintenance programs and working with building service systems, technologies (UPS units, AHUs, water treatment systems).
* Valid Safe Pass or equivalent.
