Are you our next Associate Director - Construction Advisory?

A snapshot of your peer group:
Our Associate Directors are responsible for promoting and marketing KPMG Construction Advisory and representing KPMG Construction Advisory at a senior level within the industry and manage the 'day to day' operations of their projects with their teams and support from their supervising Director together with other Directors and Senior Practice personnel.
1. Degree Qualified - BSc or MSc - in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
2. Professionally Qualified - ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution
3. Understanding a variety of project types/sizes/sectors. Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Residential
4. Understanding of RIAI and GCCC standard forms of contract
5. Experience of preparing bid submissions.
6. Prior line-management experience or mentoring
7. Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on procurement, cost, value and risk, not just cost in isolation
8. Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills

As an Associate Director working within the wider team, you will lead and deliver in all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying from project inception to completion.
You will work with a Director to successfully manage and deliver a number of projects, within our key account models.
You will drive performance standards through expert communication and effective use of the performance management process. Maintain and develop good relationships with clients, take every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of the firm as a provider of professional, premium quality services to the construction industry.
You will also be responsible for managing and mentoring junior staff to deliver our Cost Management service efficiently and effectively.
Duties include:
1. Feasibility estimates
2. Procurement advice
3. Ensuring deliverables are produced to high standards and issued on time
4. Cost planning and Cash-flow forecasting
5. Value and risk management
6. Post contract management
7. Fee generation
8. Supporting and developing team members
9. Client engagement / Maintain client relationships
