This is a great opportunity for a motivated and organised chef to join a high-performing kitchen team, supporting the preparation and batch cooking of meals for multiple outlets. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume kitchen or contract catering setting and be committed to food quality, hygiene, and teamwork. This role will involve working closely with senior chefs, following recipes, managing stock, ensuring hygiene standards are upheld, and contributing to a safe and efficient kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities: Ensure sufficient mise en place is prepared and maintained daily Follow recipes accurately and support senior chefs in maintaining food margins Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen work areas Store food correctly, including correct blast chilling and labelling procedures Support with portioning, plating, and maintaining presentation standards Assist in the receiving and rotation of stock, ensuring quality and correct storage Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a tidy, efficient work station Follow all HACCP and food safety protocols Respond to dietary or allergy-related requests as directed by senior staff Work flexibly across different outlets on the premises as required Maintain proper personal hygiene and dress code standards at all times Learn and grow within the team under the guidance of senior chefs Candidate Requirements: Previous experience in a prep or commis chef role, ideally in a high-volume or contract catering environment Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings Organised, reliable, and committed to teamwork Good standard of spoken and written English Positive attitude, punctuality, and attention to detail Eligibility to work in Ireland
