Job Title: Finance Assistant
Company Overview
"Our client is a logistics business based in South Dublin," with an emphasis on growth, they seek to expand their Finance team. As a member of this team, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and be responsible for various finance-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Process accounts payable and ensure accurate posting and processing of payments
* Reconcile supplier accounts to prevent discrepancies
* Manage accounts receivable, including creditor reconciliations and credit control
* Assist in preparing bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
* Contribute to the preparation of management accounts and corporate administration
* Oversee tax and statutory returns, as well as manage the fixed asset register
Requirements
* At least 2 years of experience in a busy finance function
* Excellent communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Able to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under deadlines
* Organized and detail-oriented with excellent attention to detail
