Job Overview
The Sales Governance Manager will oversee all aspects of the Sales Governance Team, responsible for implementing and strengthening processes and controls to meet internal and external requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Designing, implementing and strengthening processes and controls to meet evolving internal and external requirements.
* Coordinating responses to risk, compliance, audit or regulatory queries and actions with a robust approach to deadline adherence.
* Completing quarterly Risk and Control Self Assessments on behalf of the Sales Network and ensuring all agreed actions are completed.
* Recommending and implementing improvements in the sales control structure.
* Respecting requests to change sales processes and procedures while delivering the best outcomes for customers and remaining compliant.
Additional Responsibilities
* Acting as Committee Secretary at relevant Sales Committee Meetings.
* Regular reporting on risk and compliance matters.
* Coordinating the review of relevant policies and procedures in line with their review cycle.
* Supporting the Strategy team on delivering strategic initiatives from a Sales perspective.
* Liaising with other departments regarding sales process and quality issues identified.
* Promoting a positive risk and compliance culture through tailored training for staff.
* Encouraging positive customer outcomes by identifying and promoting service improvements.
Requirements
* CIP or Grandfather Qualified Experience.
* At least 5 years general insurance experience.
* Previous sales management experience and familiarity with regulatory obligations of selling general insurance products.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills with disciplined approach to tasks and deadline adherence.
* Leadership skills with ability to engage and influence positive outcomes.
