We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor who will take ownership of their role, impress our customers with a smooth and informed process, and support our technicians to get the most out of their time.
Communication and reliable service are the most important qualities of the role.
As an independent garage, we compete with the main dealers on quality and service, and we have the advantage of being able to respond quickly to our employees' needs.
We will provide you with everything that you need to succeed, including plans to renovate our workshop and front of house area, allowing you to help us design and shape the Front of House to meet your preferences.
The long-term goal is to find a Customer Service Advisor who wants to become a manager and can be successfully promoted as soon as they are ready.
The Job Role
As our full-time Customer Service Advisor, you will take ownership of the processes that support the customer experience and the smooth operation of the garage.
Starting with answering calls, you will organize the full process of the customer's journey, from understanding their description of the problem to generating an estimate and booking them in with the appropriate technician.
You will facilitate a team of excellent technicians, managing all customer communication and ensuring they are treated like royalty.
Every morning, you will meet with the workshop manager and technicians to discuss the day's events and be prepared for emergencies, rearranging the diary as needed.
The role is naturally multi-tasked, and you will regularly be asked for updates from customers and technicians. Your communication style must be clear and concise, especially when delivering unexpected news.
While you will have a lot of responsibility for organizing, you will not manage any people. However, it is important that you build a good relationship with our customers.
As you build on your experience, we will consistently ask our customers for feedback, allowing you to track and measure your success in customer service.
You will independently review what is successful and what requires improvement, with ample opportunities to tweak and adapt your role. We want you to be successful and will provide you with the support that you need.
This role has a lot of responsibility, so you will receive one-to-one support for a full year to ensure you are confident in your role before taking on full accountability.
The Candidate
It is desirable that you have previous experience working in the automotive industry, as this knowledge will be pivotal for organizing the diary effectively and communicating well with customers. If you do not have automotive experience but have a passion for cars and are keen to learn, you are welcome to apply.
It is also desirable that you have commercial awareness to understand what decisions will impact the business.
There will be times when you need to motivate your peers to maintain momentum, so it is essential that you can demonstrate a natural ability to communicate well and support your peers.

Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6:00pm
