Job Summary
The Security Systems Administrator plays a critical role within the corporate security team of a global biopharmaceutical company, overseeing the delivery of Technical Security programmes in international markets. This involves daily engagement with 3rd Party Integrators, providing support for their implementation teams and integrated solutions, regional maintenance functions, and problem-solving.
The position can be based in either Greater London, UK or Cork, Ireland, with opportunities to make a significant impact on the company's security infrastructure.
Essential Functions
* Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence in all aspects of work.
* Support the deployment of the client's security solution and ensure full functionality, including CCTV infrastructure, access control platforms, and other enterprise-wide systems.
* Troubleshoot any system malfunctions within the assigned region, using technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
* Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all systems, ensuring they operate at peak performance levels.
* Attend relevant project meetings and site reviews as required, collaborating with stakeholders to drive project success.
* Manage system installations, system refresh, and upgrades as directed, prioritizing projects to meet deadlines.
* Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including business customers, managers, and end users, to ensure seamless project execution.
* Track project delivery to ensure timely completion and alignment with programme objectives.
* Identify and highlight project delivery risks, implementing suitable mitigation strategies to prevent delays.
* Evaluate and beta test new technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance the company's security capabilities.
* Develop best practices and training materials for systems use, maximising utilisation and user adoption.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, combined with two or more years of experience in technical/physical security integration/project management/consulting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
