Finance Manager - Belfast Permanent | Full-time | Office-based | £55,000 + per annum | 19% Pension | Generous Annual Leave My client is an established and prestigious organisation in Belfast seeking a Finance Manager to join their team.
This is a truly excellent opportunity for a fully qualified Accountant to take ownership of the organisations' financial affairs, whilst managing a busy Finance Department.
Role Responsibilities: Responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of a busy finance office Preparation of quarterly management accounts and associated variance analysis.
Preparation and monitoring of regular cashflow analyses and budgetary projections, including staff costs.
Preparation of annual accounts and working papers and subsequent liaison with external auditors.
Oversee the payroll function including preparation and submission of monthly BACS salary transfer.
Preparation of staffing budgets and assistance with any other projections required.
Submission of online payments for general staff expenses and overseas agencies plus other ad hoc payments.
Analysis and retention of financial information as required by stakeholders.
Preparation and submission of returns in a timely manner, as and when required.
Review of outstanding fees and other debts to pro-actively identify and address potential non-payment.
Preparation of annual accounts and VAT returns for associated entity A full job description is available upon request Essential Criteria: Fully qualified accountant with membership of a CCAB recognised body or equivalent.
At least four years of post-qualification experience in practical accountancy, including management and statutory accounts, cashflows, and budgetary analyses.
Initiative, self-motivation, and diligence to accomplish tasks unsupervised and to deadlines.
Highly skilled in numeracy, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent IT skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting packages and online banking facilities.
Ability to work as the senior element of a team, managing and delegating appropriately.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
