Corporate Sales Manager - Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Corporate Sales Manager at the excellent Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley.

The role offers the candidate a prominent position within the centre of the corporate landscape.
Key Duties and Responsibilities To ensure effective management of key corporate accounts and to recognise and capitalise on all opportunities from these existing accounts and maintain them to their optimum level.
Solicit, confirm and negotiate transient accounts including negotiating rates and confirming contracts that ensure targeted budget achievement.
Proactively prospect new accounts for the property, and follow the sales process through to convert into 'producing' accounts.
Create a targeted RFP hit list in advance of RFP season for multi-user account development.
Manage the annual RFP process for each individual targeted account including account and market intelligence and pricing recommendations to maximize hotel profitability and secure travel program inclusion.
Analyse monthly intelligence reports and hotel GDS production reports and develop business from the same with the Director of Sales.
Identify key competitors and carry out regular competitor analysis, monitoring their performance, rates and sales activity.
Update the company's CRM system Alkimi accurately and utilise it for measuring prospective business.
Utilize arrival reports, Hotelligence 360, Alkimi/Opera business intelligence, etc., to solicit and secure business on behalf of the hotel.
Impact corporate sales production to ensure maximum account penetration.
Create and execute account plans/company needs analysis for top corporate accounts and make recommendations regarding pricing, yield management, room night production, sales activities, etc.
Uncover potential leads on behalf of sister properties and the company.
Organise and facilitate site inspections of the hotel and entertain clients as appropriate to support efforts.
To have a strong knowledge of the competitive set and remain up to date on key business trends.
Understand and be in a position to action when required any group and events enquiries and ensure accurate handover and follow-up to the Events Team.
Regular travel will be required.
Requirements:
Experience in a similar role in the hospitality sector.
Proactive sales experience is a must.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English.
The role will involve travel; candidates must have access to a car for work and hold a full Driver's Licence.
