Established company in Tyrone seeks a Finance Assistant to support key financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Invoice Processing: Verify, process, and code supplier invoices for approval.
* Customer Invoicing: Work closely with account managers and the transport team to generate accurate invoices.
* Accounts Payable & Receivable: Ensure timely payments and collections.
* Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular checks to maintain financial accuracy.
* Data Entry & Expense Tracking: Maintain accurate financial records and monitor company expenses.
* VAT & Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing VAT returns and tax documentation.
* Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role (transport/haulage experience is a plus).
* Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books, Sage, or similar).
* Strong understanding of VAT, tax regulations, and financial processes.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* AAT qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
