Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Business Partner to join our team at a leading multinational logistics company based in North Dublin. As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with senior management, operations, and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, guidance, and support to drive business performance and strategic decision-making.
In this role, you will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to ensure the financial health and growth of the organization. You will help guide operational leaders in aligning financial goals with business objectives, providing a bridge between finance and the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with business leaders and department heads to understand business needs and provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive decision-making.
* Support in the development and execution of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives.
* Lead and coordinate monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes, providing accurate and timely financial information to senior management.
* Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and recommend actionable insights to improve profitability, cost control, and operational efficiency.
* Evaluate and challenge business assumptions and performance to drive continuous improvement and value creation.
* Collaborate with operational teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and pricing strategies for services and contracts.
* Monitor key financial KPIs and deliver monthly and quarterly performance reviews.
* Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required by the business.
* Ensure compliance with company financial policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both within finance and across other business functions.
* Act as a trusted advisor, providing financial support and advice to assist with key decision-making processes.
* Support initiatives related to financial system improvements, automation, and process optimization.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Newly Qualified Accountant - 1 year PQE
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge senior business leaders.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
* Experience in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
* A proactive and results-driven approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* A team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse business functions.
