About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager – EMEA & APAC to lead and drive safety, health, and welfare initiatives across our operations in these regions. This is a senior, strategic role, requiring a leader who can proactively identify risks, implement best-in-class H&S management systems, and ensure compliance with global regulatory frameworks. This individual will set the agenda, advising leadership on health and safety best practices rather than simply following existing procedures. They will be responsible for shaping and executing the overall H&S strategy across multiple international sites and ensuring consistency in safety standards. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager EMEA & APAC and works closely with senior leadership, operations managers, and local H&S teams.

Qualifications
1. Essential:
2. Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3. Minimum 8-10 years of H&S leadership experience in an international or multi-site environment (ideally in manufacturing, energy, or critical infrastructure industries).
4. Expertise in ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management systems.
5. Strong knowledge of EMEA & APAC regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
6. Demonstrated experience in developing and executing H&S strategies at a regional or global level.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management experience.
8. Ability to work independently, influence senior leaders, and drive cultural change across international teams.
9. High level of computer literacy (MS Office Suite, data analysis tools, and reporting systems).
10. Desirable:
11. Professional certification in Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP).
12. Experience working in data centres, energy, or critical power industries.
13. Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and ISO 50001 integration.
14. Background in electrical or engineering fields is advantageous.
