Senior Account Executive
YOU MUST HAVE INSURANCE EXPERIENCE
Our client is hiring a senior account executive to work with senior management to grow the business. Your primary role will involve identifying and acquiring new clients, managing renewals, and managing relationships.
Role responsibilities will include:
* Ensure the best class advice is provided at the renewal stage while managing the client relationship.
* Map and re-broke the market to offer the best advice to clients when renewing their business.
* Obtaining key financial data and relevant information from targeted prospects to prepare our market submissions for insurer/underwriting review.
* Working closely with Senior Directors to proactively target new business generation through client interaction, networking, relationship building, attending industry-related events and utilising existing contacts in these sectors where possible.
* Build the company’s offering and strategy alongside the Directors.
* Assist in building a team aligned with the business plan and company strategy.
* Build a balanced pipeline for future revenues by engaging with senior-level decision-makers in target industries.
* Offering exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
Candidate Profile
* Ability to build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers and associates.
* 4 - 6 plus years in the insurance industry.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and tactful negotiation skills.
* Ability to identify and expand opportunities for business development.
* Willingness and ability to continue to develop knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning, both internal and external to the company.
* A working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software applications.
* Ability to manage time, prioritise, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation.
* Understanding of a client’s business issues, insurance needs and expectations.
