Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our Tax Compliance and Advisory team.

The successful candidate will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors, with opportunities to lead and grow the firm's tax department.


Responsibilities

* Manage and develop the Tax Department within the firm.
* Oversee a diverse client portfolio while developing and managing your own.
* Provide innovative solutions to complex tax issues, delivering clear, practical advice to clients.
* Prepare high-standard tax reports and documents requiring minimal input from partners.
* Build strong relationships with clients, understand their business, and help win new work by cross-selling the firm's other professional services.
* Deliver quality work within budget and time constraints, ensuring excellent client satisfaction.


Requirements

* CTA qualified
* Minimum of five years post-qualification experience
* A qualification as an Accountant or Solicitor would be an advantage
* Strong technical knowledge and ability to identify opportunities for clients
* Experience in managing and leading a team of qualified professionals
* Demonstrated commitment, motivation, and initiative in all business dealings
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
