As an End User Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving end user-focused security solutions across our environment.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure our workforce remains protected, compliant, and efficient in their daily operations.
You will be: Analysing business requirements and designing End User Security solutions, including proof-of-concept development and testing.
Configuring, managing, and optimising end user security tools (e.g., EDR solutions like CrowdStrike/MSFT Defender for Endpoint, DLP solutions, secure web gateways like Zscaler, and email detection solutions such as MSFT Defender for Office, Material Security and KnowBe4).
Implementing and improving policies and configurations to harden endpoints, productivity tooling (Office 365, Slack, Google Workspace, etc.)
and protect against threats, ensuring best practices and compliance requirements are met.
Collaborating with IT, infrastructure, and other cybersecurity teams to design and deploy solutions that balance business needs with strong security measures.
Ensure compliance with frameworks such as SOC2, NIST, and ISO27001 by designing audit-ready systems.
Investigating root causes of security-related issues and implementing corrective actions, leveraging automation where possible.
Adapting to a fast-paced environment and contributing to SCRUM/Agile processes.
Working independently and as part of a team, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet deadlines and continuously improve processes.
Documenting configurations, procedures, and best practices, while effectively communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you will bring to the table: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years hands-on experience in cybersecurity, focusing on endpoint security, DLP, web filtering, backup and email protection solutions.
Advanced knowledge of End User Security technologies, including EDR platforms (CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender), DLP and backup technologies, secure web gateways (Zscaler or similar), and email security toolkits (e.g., Material Security, KnowBe4 and MSFT MDO).
Knowledge of compliance frameworks and security standards (e.g., SOC2, NIST, ISO27001, HITRUST) and applying them to operational environments.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, identifying and resolving issues through innovative, automated solutions.
Effective communication to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and project management abilities.
Collaborative mindset with a demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams
