Job Description
Your Role
As a Content & Social Media Executive, you'll focus on our Irish Sports Direct channels. You'll report directly to the Head of Marketing and work on big sponsorships and brand campaigns in Ireland.
Responsibilities
* Content Creation - Utilize existing content, develop new ideas, and execute them.
* Scheduling - Work within tools to build comprehensive social plans and scheduling.
* Community Management - Manage an active online community, respond to comments, and participate in discussions.
* Daily Monitoring - Monitor all social media channels, competitors, and similar accounts.
* Trends and Insights - Find trends, hashtags, and 'hack culture' to ensure we're responding and participating in the right discussions.
* Communication - Be our brand's social media presence and establish our tone of voice.
* Events - Attend events and games to capture content, report on moments, and sometimes appear on camera.
* Reporting and Analytics - Provide analytical reporting to creatives and the wider business.
* Paid Media and Advertising - Work with the paid media team to execute paid-for campaigns.
* Influencer Marketing - Own influencer marketing from identifying potential influencers to negotiating contracts and deliverables.
Requirements
* Valid Drivers License - Essential for national and international travel.
* Meticulous Organization - Timekeeping and attention to detail in a fast-paced team.
* Creative Copywriting - Translate brand direction into social ideas and content.
* Cultural Insights - Identify relevant cultural insights and apply them to creative thinking.
* Social Platforms - Understand how people engage with social platforms and how behavior is changing.
* Data Analysis - Translate data into insights to inform creative strategy.
* Facilitation Skills - Great facilitation skills for workshops and creative sprints.
* Interest in Sport - An interest in sport is a must.
