Job Overview
We are seeking a Power BI Specialist with a passion for data visualisation and UI/UX design to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in building interactive and visually compelling dashboards that support real-time decision-making.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and AI engineers to develop insights-driven dashboards that optimise operations for our clients. This role requires both technical expertise in Power BI and an eye for design, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Power BI Dashboard Development & UI/UX Design
* Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards with intuitive user interfaces.
* Implement modern UI/UX best practices to create aesthetically appealing and easy-to-navigate reports.
* Ensure dashboards are optimised for performance, speed, and usability.
Data Analysis & Business Intelligence
* Work with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into data-driven insights.
* Develop data models, calculated measures, and advanced DAX expressions for accurate reporting.
* Identify trends, patterns, and insights to enhance business performance and operational efficiency.
Data Integration & Optimisation
* Connect Power BI to multiple data sources such as SQL databases, APIs, Excel, and cloud-based storage.
* Implement data cleansing, transformation, and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
* Optimise data models and Power BI reports for scalability and responsiveness.
Collaboration & Innovation
* Work closely with the AI and automation teams to integrate predictive analytics and machine learning insights into dashboards.
* Train internal teams and clients on best practices for using Power BI effectively.
* Stay up to date with the latest Power BI and data analytics trends to continually enhance our offerings.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development, data analytics, and report design.
Power BI Expertise: Strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
UI/UX Knowledge: Proven ability to design dashboards with excellent user experience and visual appeal.
Data Handling: Experience in cleaning, transforming, and integrating data from multiple sources.
SQL & Database Skills: Ability to write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
Business Acumen: Ability to understand client needs and translate them into actionable insights.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present insights effectively.
Advantageous Skills: Experience with Azure Synapse, Logic Apps / Power Automate, Python, or other BI tools is a plus.
