Aircraft Spray Painters
We are seeking highly skilled Aircraft Spray Painters to join our team in Ireland for an initial 8-week contract.
Job Overview:
This role is responsible for the preparation and painting of commercial aircraft, including the application of customer liveries and technical markings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist Production Managers/Team Leaders in preparing and painting aircraft according to customer requirements.
* Maintain all aircraft and components in a serviceable and airworthy condition by performing assigned maintenance tasks, including:
o Docking of aircraft
o Aircraft damage inspection
o Paint inspection after application
o Water washing aircraft
o Masking of surfaces
o Removal of existing paint schemes (Stripping, Sanding, Solvent Cleaning, Sealant removal/application)
o Defect rectification
o Paint application
o Polishing
o Livery Application
o Tech markings Application
o Movement of flight controls
o Final completion check
o Customer Inspection
o Aircraft Departure
* Comply with company policies and procedures as outlined by the relevant regulatory body.
* Report any problems arising to your Manager/Team Leader in a timely manner.
* Ensure tools, test equipment, and aircraft maintenance equipment are maintained in a clean and serviceable condition.
* Complete allocated documentation applicable to aircraft on layover and its associated equipment.
* Maintain accurate time records for allocated tasks.
* Promote good relations with other personnel and customers to enhance productivity and company image.
* Maintain work and rest areas in a clean and tidy condition.
* Adhere to the company health and safety policy.
* Contribute ideas to improve work processes, efficiency, quality, and ground time.
* Perform other reasonable tasks or duties allocated by the company.
Required Experience:
Previous experience in spray painting large equipment, commercial vehicles, panel beating, or motor mechanics is essential.
Other Requirements:
The successful candidate must have the right to live and work in the Republic of Ireland and possess a working knowledge of English.
