External Sales Representative
(Construction Industry) –
Dublin and Leinster (ideally living in Dublin)
Overview
You will be responsible for increasing sales within your area while also expanding your customer base. In addition to hitting targets, a Sales Representative is also responsible for representing the image of the company, providing excellent customer service and identifying areas for business development.
Responsibilities
1. You will be representing the company by phone and face to face to gain orders for all company products and services.
2. Maintain company CRM at all times for all existing and potential customers.
3. Be fully competent in product literature, sales aids, and pricing lists to optimise business opportunities.
4. All price quotations or commitments entered into are confirmed by letter or written confirmation.
5. Advise the Branch Manager for marketing information, including competitor activities and pricing by means of weekly reports and sales meetings.
6. Maximise time spent in the field by creating a strategy.
7. Maintain a professional image at all times through appearance and conduct.
8. All customer enquiries must be dealt with effectively and in a timely manner.
9. Carry out projects ad hoc.
10. You will be expected to achieve budgeted turnover and targets within agreed Company pricing.
Qualifications and Skills
1. At least 5 years proven sales experience in construction or a similar industry.
2. Able to meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Proficient IT skills including MS.
5. Driving Licence (clean preferred).
6. Ability to negotiate.
7. Using your own initiative.
8. Effectively plan and execute.
