Electrical Design Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician/Electrical Design Engineer to join our client's team-based organisation in Limerick. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on varied, large-scale projects with real autonomy.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrician who has recently achieved a Level 7 or 8 electrical degree or an Electrician with three years of design experience. You will collaborate with project teams to implement designs, conduct surveys, and generate drawings and documentation.
Duties
* Collaborate with project teams to implement designs
* Conduct surveys and report on site equipment and installations
* Generate as-built drawings and update existing documentation
* Specify and procure electrical and instrument equipment according to appropriate standards
* Prepare project documents, health and safety plans, specifications, bills of materials, and material purchases
* Liaise with contractors during installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and testing of electrical and instrument installations
* Work with plant personnel to optimise electrical and instrument performance
* Ensure all equipment is registered on maintenance management systems and project documentation is filed appropriately
* Report regularly on project status, schedule, and budget

Requirements
* Level 7/8 qualification in Electrical Technology and/or qualified Electrician with relevant experience
* At least 3 years relevant experience
