Job Description
A highly skilled Business Systems Analyst - IT is required on a contract role by our client. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Alteryx and a strong background in data analysis, statistics, and programming.
Key Responsibilities:
* Utilize Alteryx to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources for analysis.
* Develop and maintain Alteryx workflows for automating repetitive data tasks and improving efficiency.
* Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
* Design and implement data visualizations and dashboards using Alteryx and other BI tools to communicate insights effectively.
* Monitor data quality and integrity, troubleshoot data-related issues, and implement solutions to ensure accuracy.
* Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in data analytics, Alteryx, and related technologies.
* Provide training and support to colleagues on Alteryx usage and best practices.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
* Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a strong focus on data manipulation and analysis.
* Proficiency in Alteryx Designer, including experience with data blending, spatial analysis, predictive analytics, and macros.
* Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
* Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams is a plus.
* Alteryx Designer certification is preferred but not required.
