Role Profile
As Branch Manager you will report to the Area Operations Manager and will be accountable for the commercial performance of the Ballytore Branch and its impact on the communities it serves. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the branch including sales, resourcing, inventory management, merchandising, health & safety and maintaining the retail excellence standards defined for the Agribusiness branch network. You will also be responsible for collaborating with the Business Managers in your area to drive cross-channel performance by delivering the highest standards of solutions and services to our customers.
Responsibilities
1. Developing future sales strategy for the site to ensure that operating profit is exceeded on an annual basis
2. Managing the branch in line with set annual budgets
3. Developing customer relationships and providing superior customer service
4. Growing sales across all our product ranges in Agri and Retail
5. Managing the day-to-day operations, people, and costs
6. Ensuring efficient and timely stock management
7. Ensuring the branch presentation is to the highest retail standards
8. Managing all stakeholders’ incl. internal and external stakeholders, local advisory committees etc.
9. Adhering fully to all Tirlán policies, processes and procedures
10. Living the Tirlán Values on a daily basis
Requirements
11. A professional qualification in Agriculture or a related discipline
12. A strong and wide knowledge of all Agri sectors
13. An excellent understanding of retail standards and keen interest in this area
14. Strong knowledge of computer systems- SAP, EPOS and Microsoft Office
