This is a newly created role offering full autonomy and presenting a fully qualified, experienced accountant the opportunity to make a significant impact while working closely with senior leadership.The Role:The CFO/ Finance Business Partner will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, reporting directly to the CEO and board.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of monthly management accountsPreparation of Board meeting packs including KPIs, forecasting, etc.Preparation of monthly account reconciliationsOverseeing and coordinating budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysisOverseeing internal controlsCAPEX and cashflow managementResponsible for coordinating the month-end close processCoordination of the annual audit with external auditorsPreparation and review of statutory Financial StatementsPreparation of corporation tax returns and liaising with external tax advisersPreparation of VAT returnsPreparation and reviewing the monthly aged debtor and creditor reportsSupport ad hoc projects as they arise (e.g., strategic planning and expansion)About You:The ideal candidate is a self-starter, capable of working autonomously while also collaborating with senior management.
