Technimark is a global leader in creating advanced injection-molded packaging solutions for Fortune 500 healthcare, consumer packaging and industrial customers. We specialize in the kinds of plastic containers you see on drug store and supermarket shelves, and medical supplies you’d find in a doctor’s office or hospital room.
We are currently looking for specialists for the position of Process Engineer.
Location: Ireland - Longford
Responsible for the introduction of all new products into the company and compiling standard specifications for each process, monitoring all existing production to standard specifications.
Ensures process optimization using statistical techniques and works with the Production Group leaders (PGL's) in troubleshooting processing problems.
Establishes relationships with customers and equipment/raw material suppliers in pursuit of continuous improvement and ongoing business development.
Solves, in conjunction with the Quality department, customer-related problems/issues as needed.
Instructs others, formally or informally, regarding manufacturing-related skills or knowledge and assists in the training of employees on new processes or systems introduced to the company.
Coordinates the development of documentation in the Production and Technical areas in line with ISO9001:2000 and ISO 13485 requirements and reviews the systems with the Group Leaders and the Quality department on a regular basis to ensure conformance to same.
Communicates on a regular basis (or as appropriate) with external suppliers of materials and equipment and provides regular feedback on any issues to the management team.
Performs additional duties at the request of the direct supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
* Proficiency in English - min. B2/C1
* Higher education with a Degree in Plastics Engineering or similar.
* At least 4-5 years' experience in the injection molding industry.
* Very good knowledge of Injection mold tooling and design.
* Knowledge in computer systems; integrated manufacturing systems; word processing and spreadsheets.
* Very good knowledge of Injection Molding (standard process and multi-component), processing, ancillary equipment and automation systems.
* In-depth knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE) and demonstrate use of the same.
* Good knowledge of the principles of WCM, JIT, SMED, and Kaizen.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work independently on own projects while working concurrently with all departments.
* Employment based on an employment contract (annual salary €55,000-70,000 gross)
* Work from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
