My client is looking to hire an immediately available medical administrator to join their team.
* Maintaining the main reception area and greeting patients and visitors and others on arrival at the Clinic.
* Registering new patients and checking patients in for procedures and appointments.
* Booking and scheduling of appointments for multiple diaries and liaising with patients, referrers, practitioners and medical staff.
* Managing all incoming emails, referrals, reports, and ensuring all contacts and enquiries are dealt with in a courteous and efficient manner.
* Handling payments – managing patient accounts by obtaining, recording and updating personal and financial information, receipt of payments and issuing receipts for procedures and appointments.
* Providing administrative assistance to clinical staff throughout the Clinic as required.
* Answering telephone calls, ensuring patient queries are responded to in a timely and efficient manner.
* Completing end of day reconciliation of accounts including health insurance payments.
* To provide cross cover for Administrative Assistant colleagues as required particularly during break periods and annual leave.
