Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Director Global Procurement to lead all Procurement activities in support of the global Clinical Drug Supply & Logistics category.
This role will be responsible for managing categories with a high degree of complexity, building meaningful supplier relationships, and delivering high service levels to the business.
Daily Responsibilities
* Help define and implement the global category strategy to serve global and regional business needs.
* Lead discussions and aligns category priorities with Procurement management and partners.
* Manage negotiations, supplier management activities, and partner engagement activities for the category as assigned.
* Work with leadership to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.
* Represent Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in the CDS&L category with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results of Global Procurement.
Requirements
* Built influential relationships with partners and suppliers for Regeneron.
* Success running cross-functional teams to get results in Clinical Trial categories or related categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
* Expert insight and knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures to enable optimal negotiations.
* Used external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve Regeneron's knowledge of supply market dynamics.
