As our Junior Development Manager, you will have a clear pathway for career progression, gaining invaluable exposure to large-scale residential projects at various stages, from contract negotiation to delivery.
Initially, you will play a key role in ongoing reporting processes, working closely with clients and shadowing senior team members through the successful completion of one or two projects.
This hands-on experience will prepare you to independently manage your own projects, navigating partnerships, joint ventures, and forward-funding arrangements.

Key Responsibilities and Duties Act as the primary point of contact between Glenveagh Properties and key stakeholders, fostering robust relationships with local authorities, clients, external & internal partners to ensure project alignment with organizational goals Provide timely and detailed updates to stakeholders and Glenveagh senior management on project performance, including budget adherence, site progress, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies Collaborate closely with Glenveagh's internal teams to develop and execute comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and technical specifications, ensuring delivery meets quality and timeline expectations Lead technical and commercial aspects of residential bulk sales and forward funding agreements, driving negotiations and coordinating with Glenveagh's legal team to secure optimal outcomes Represent Glenveagh in discussions with third parties such as utility providers, local councils, and community organizations, ensuring agreements align with project and company objectives Navigate the planning process by managing consents, discharging planning conditions, and collaborating with the design team to prepare projects for construction readiness Conduct regular on-site inspections, proactively addressing challenges with the construction team and ensuring projects progress smoothly from development to successful handover Requirements Possesses a strong background in property development, construction management, or civil/structural engineering, with technical acumen to effectively contribute to project success Demonstrates a self-starting attitude with the ability to anticipate challenges, take initiative, and deliver results without requiring constant direction Excels at engaging with people, building positive relationships, and collaborating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders Takes full ownership of responsibilities, follows through on commitments, and ensures high standards of performance are consistently met Ability to work across several workstreams and meet strict deadlines Self-motivated and solution driven
