Vhi Group DAC A full-time and permanent position has arisen within Vhi for Risk Analyst role, the successful candidate will assist and support the Risk Managers in the development and management of the Risk Management Framework within VHI .

Hybrid working opportunities Health Insurance Performance related pay Company pension And many more Role Purpose Support the Risk Managers and Heads of Risk in implementation of risk management practices and promoting a positive risk culture within VHI in line with the risk management framework.
Support the Risk Manager on tasks focused on development and enhancement of the organisations Risk Management Framework and Risk Culture.
Complete ongoing risk monitoring, testing, incident reporting with business units and support in remediation of risk challenges and issues.
Support in maintaining the organisation's risk register.
Assist in development and maintenance of Risk Management Policy, Risk Appetite Statement, limits and tolerance and other Risk Management documentation.
Assist in developing, monitoring and maintaining Key Risk Indicators (KRI's) relevant to business units.
Support the Risk Function in effective oversight, governance and monitoring of third party arrangements for business units within VHI organisation.
Support the planning, preparation and delivery of training and workshops to risk coordinators, business units and risk owners within business units to embed risk culture, awareness and ownership for risk deliverables.
Support the Risk Manager in preparation of ongoing reporting to internal committees/senior management within VHI & externally to CBI.
Research and keep up to date with trends and changes in risk and regulation making recommendations around use of best practice risk management, tools and techniques to VHI.
Education & Experience Minimum 2 years financial industry experience and an understanding of Risk Frameworks.
Qualification in Risk Management or a related business discipline is desirable but not essential.

Proven experience of business and report writing skills for internal and external use.
Demonstrates accountability and ownership, proactive around own and process development within Risk Function.
Experience in conducting risk assessments desirable Customer view and focus with ability to question and challenge from risk perspective within VHI organisation.
Demonstrates strong communication skills with an ability to challenge, influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
