We currently have an exciting opportunity for a New Business Development Manager to join our Field Sales team at Bunzl McLaughlin covering Cork City Centre and the Greater Cork Area.
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who is keen to grow and develop a sales area within a thriving business. Sales experience within HoReCa and Foodservice industry would be advantageous.

Main Responsibilities:
* Grow our market share with the area assigned.
* Populating customer management information on Salesforce.
* Key lead in managing customer relationships.
* Identify new customer opportunities, creating new customer profiles and win new business whilst aligning to Bunzl new business strategy.
* Maintain Territory by creating journey plans to ensure time is best utilised.
* Promoting exclusive lines, Bunzl Advantage and weekly delivery within schedule.
* Co-ordinate customer contracts and margins.
* Providing quotations identifying profitable growth opportunities.
* Onboarding customer to digital platforms to increase in call productivity.
* Responsible for the successful sales growth in line with the Company's objective, overall business plans, and strategies.
* Conducting monthly reviews of the relevant customer pipeline activity.
* Expected to be knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
Skills and Experience:
Joining us as a New Business Development Manager, the minimum criteria you will need are:
* A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the HoReCa and Foodservice industry.
* Has developed and executed tactical sales plans including quotas and account objectives.
* Highly organised and has strong effective time management skills.
* Highly competent and computer literate with all Microsoft Office system.
* Experience required with utilising sales database tracking programs.
* Strong negotiating skills and capacity.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Equally strong listening skills.
* Highly customer focused.
* Highly efficient.
* Ability to set policies, but remain flexible when customer conditions require.
