Job Overview We are looking for a Senior Timing Engineer to contribute to the development of high-performance, low-power semiconductor solutions.
This role involves designing, optimizing, and verifying complex IP blocks and system-on-chip (SoC) architectures.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of product development.
Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize digital and/or analog IP for efficient and high-performance computing.
Design circuit specifications, logic architectures, and system simulations.
Collaborate with software and hardware teams to align system requirements with implementation strategies.
Conduct full-cycle evaluations, including synthesis, place & route, timing, power analysis, and verification.
Utilize design tools such as RTL to GDS flow and Virtuoso for execution.
Write comprehensive technical documentation for design and verification processes.
Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in ASIC design, verification, or related roles.
Strong expertise in timing analysis, including LVF, AOCV/POCV/SOCV, and sign-off methodologies.
Experience with CAD tools for correlation between sign-off tools and Spice simulations.
Hands-on experience with standard cell library characterization and process flow.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Perl, TCL, and Bash for workflow automation.
Knowledge of Spice extraction, modeling, and aging reliability for advanced technology nodes.
Familiarity with physical design methodologies, place & route (P&R), and static timing analysis (STA) .
Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
3+ years of experience in ASIC design, verification, or related fields.
2+ years of experience with design and architecture tools.
2+ years of experience in scripting and automation.
2+ years of experience in design verification and validation.
