Corporate Sales Manager
This is a flexible role suitable for either an experienced Corporate Sales Manager or an ambitious Sales Executive.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the hotel and raising its profile, focusing on the corporate sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Retain and develop existing business to increase sales from the corporate sector.
* Develop partnerships with local Cork-based companies and national companies to drive new and existing corporate business.
* Ensure smooth handovers of conference, meetings, events, and private dining from enquiry stage through to conversion, including client liaison and contracting.
* Achieve maximum revenue potential for all areas and meet targets.
* Increase productivity in private dining and meeting spaces by widening the client base, including corporate clients direct or via third-party agencies.
* Assist with daily communication within the sales office, answering telephone calls, and conducting administration tasks.
* Ensure consistent information flow within the office and amongst other departments within the hotel.
* Work closely with the Sales & Marketing, Revenue & Reservations, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure guest requests are met and maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
* Support long-term food and beverage hotel strategies.
Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum two years' experience in a corporate/event sales role in a four-star hotel.
* Knowledge of the local Cork company and corporate marketplace is advantageous.
* Proven track record of strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise tasks.
* Excellent analytical skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and multitask.
* Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Good financial awareness (KPIs, budgets).
* Willingness to assist a team environment and adapt to challenges to achieve objectives.
* Strong systems knowledge (CMS, Avvio, Revinate, MS Office, Hotsoft, Tablepath).
