Job Description:
ERM are seeking an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic Acoustic Consultant or Senior Acoustic Consultant to join our market leading Acoustics team. You’ll support the delivery of the high-quality noise and vibration services we provide, and we’ll support your professional development, helping you to build and grow your career here at ERM!
You will work on innovative projects in the decarbonisation (hydrogen, CCUS) and renewable energy sectors (solar, onshore and offshore wind, hydrogen and battery storage) where ERM is working with clients to lead the low carbon energy transition.
You will have the chance to work on projects in a variety of sectors and geographies. You’ll work alongside our experienced team to help undertake noise surveys, analyse data, carry out noise modelling and assessment, and write reports.
We offer flexible working to suit your life – need to do the school run? Not a problem! More productive and happy if you work from home a few days per week? Go ahead! You’ll have 25 days annual leave + public holidays, 6% pension contribution, EV car salary sacrifice scheme, twice annual promotion opportunities, annual salary review and performance related bonus, private medical insurance, life assurance, income protection, employee assistance programme, volunteering and Give As You Earn opportunities, travel season ticket loan, premium account for Calm (the #1 app for sleep and meditation), Cycle2Work Scheme, plus discounts on gym membership and gift cards for a wide variety of retailers and restaurants.
About you
You’ll have some experience under your belt for this role, in an acoustic consultancy position where you’ve excelled and are ready for the next step. You’ll be Degree qualified in Acoustics or a similar discipline and possess a good understanding of acoustic principles, along with the ability to write clear, concise reports. You’ll be a member of the Institute of Acoustics, and due to the site visits that are needed, a full UK driving licence is essential. Some overnight stays will likely be required.
