Senior Mechanical Estimator
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Estimator to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced estimator who wants to work on new pharmaceutical projects across the UK.
The successful candidate will be based remotely and required to travel to sites once a month.

The Role
* Conduct thorough reviews of tender documents, drawings, specifications, and schedules.
* Perform accurate quantity take-offs and mark up measured drawings.
* Request, manage, and evaluate supplier and sub-contractor quotations.
* Issue tender queries and RFIs.
* Prepare costed bill of quantities and tender reports.
* Advise on potential value engineering opportunities.
* Manage database and attend meetings and site visits as required.
Requirements
* Mechanical estimating experience.
* Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office.
* Excellent understanding of mechanical and process pipework systems, HVAC, plumbing, and other building services systems.
* Good knowledge of different materials used in mechanical and process pipework systems.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
* Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.
