About the role
As our Senior Retail Manager, you will coordinate, plan and develop the retail management activities of the Village to achieve sales targets and enhance customer experience and spend within the Village. You will work to and support the Senior Retail Director and Retail Director.
Key responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role will include some or all the following:
* Ensure that the Village achieves its set sales targets, retail strategy and provides an excellent customer experience.
* Develop excellent relationships with more complex existing brands that are conducive to maximising sales and business opportunities within the Village.
* Maintain and develop personal knowledge and expertise to provide guidance to store managers and enhance profitability.
* Coordinate and daily management of store staff, programmes and activities to achieve optimum inventory levels and merchandise selection at all times.
* Provide accurate and timely management information with supporting analysis, through weekly reporting, to Retail Director and/or Deputy Retail Director.
* Provide insights to implement the Village retail strategy through analysis of fashion trends, customer behaviours and key seasonal dates.
* Promote the position of the Village within the local community.
* Liaise effectively with Leasing and Operations teams in providing the support needed to achieve highest levels of customer satisfaction, compliance with all legal requirements and successful operational coordination.
* Work closely with the People team to develop training seminars on effective customer service, sales performance, KPI based sales and stock management and in-store visual merchandising to the brands.
About You
We are looking for an individual who can display the following experience and skills:
* Degree education or relevant qualification is preferable.
* Proven experience in management of multi-site sport brands, luxury or premium brands is preferable.
* Proven experience in international luxury retail industry, ideally within a department store.
* Able to work well with all levels across the business and customers with a creative and open-minded capability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
* Clear analytical capabilities, structured approach, and an eye for detail.
* A customer focused approach with an innate understanding of quality service.
* Energetic and hands-on approach.
