We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our client's team in Dublin. In this role, you will provide onsite support to end users, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems within the organization. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, with strong problem-solving skills and a solid background in desktop and network support.
Responsibilities:
* Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
* Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, printers, and other peripherals.
* Manage and support Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows OS environments.
* Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, including VPNs and WiFi.
* Assist with the setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
* Document and track support requests in the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
* Participate in the onboarding and offboarding process by setting up and decommissioning user accounts and hardware.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
* Proficiency in Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.
* Experience with remote support tools and troubleshooting.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator are a plus.
