Abbott Vascular Division – Clonmel
Abbott Vascular is one of the world's leading vascular care businesses. Our vascular manufacturing facility in Clonmel helps meet worldwide demand for vascular devices.
Main Responsibilities
* Support the site finance and operations teams across several key areas of the business.
* Complete a broad range of financial services and deliverables providing financial support to site manufacturing operations.
* Assess reasonableness and relevance of financial assumptions with limited supervision.
* Perform general accounting activities and reconciliations as part of the month end processes.
* Review and approval of capital project and inventory expenditures.
* Prepare and review monthly KPI metrics for areas of responsibility and communicate to key business stakeholders and senior management.
* Assist in the preparation of the site Annual Plan & quarterly Plan updates.
* Maintain controls to assure compliance with GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley & internal Corporate Financial Policies assisting with Statutory & Internal audit activity as required.
Requirements
* B.S. in Accounting or Relevant Business Course preferred.
* Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with 2-3 years PQE.
* Related industry experience an advantage.
This role requires excellent financial analysis skills, strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and ability to work on their own initiative or as part of a team to prioritize tasks and objectives.
